Cookie policy
Version 1.0. Effective 3 October 2026. This is a translation of the French version, which is the reference version.
In short
notmydpt.com uses no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no profiling trackers. We only use trackers that are strictly necessary for the shop to work, plus audience measurement limited to aggregated statistics. These trackers are exempt from consent: that is why you see no cookie banner.
What a tracker is
A tracker is a piece of information stored on or read from your device when you visit a website: a cookie, browser local storage, a technical identifier. The law requires your prior consent, except for trackers strictly necessary for a service you request or for transmitting the communication, and for certain anonymous audience measurement.
Trackers we use
| Tracker | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cart ("CASE"): local storage | notmydpt.com | Keep the contents of your cart between pages or visits | 30 days after the cart was last changed | Not required (strictly necessary) |
| Language preference | notmydpt.com | Remember your FR or EN choice | Until the browser is closed | Not required (strictly necessary) |
| `__stripe_mid`, `__stripe_sid` | Stripe, on payment pages | Secure the payment and prevent fraud | 1 year; 30 minutes | Not required (strictly necessary for the payment you request) |
| `m` (m.stripe.com domain) | Stripe | Fraud prevention | 2 years | Not required (strictly necessary for payment) |
| Audience measurement opt-out | notmydpt.com | Remember that you objected to audience measurement | Until you clear the site data (local storage) | Not required (stores your choice) |
| Plausible: no cookie | Not applicable | Aggregated traffic statistics, computed without cookies or persistent identifiers | Not applicable | Not required |
Stripe's payment module is embedded in our payment pages. The Stripe cookies listed above are used only to secure the payment and prevent fraud. They are described in Stripe's policy: https://stripe.com/legal/cookies-policy.
Audience measurement
We measure traffic to know which pages are viewed and to fix what does not work. This measurement:
- is used only to produce aggregated, anonymous statistics for our own use;
- does not track your browsing on other websites;
- is not combined with any other data, nor with your orders;
- does not use your full IP address;
- keeps data for 25 months at most.
You can object at any time: the Opt out of audience measurement button below. Your choice is stored on your device.
Links to social networks
Links to Instagram and TikTok are plain links. No module from these networks is loaded on our website and no data is sent to them unless you click.
Managing trackers in your browser
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary trackers, the cart and payment may stop working.
Changes
If we ever add trackers that require consent (advertising, social networks, embedded video), a banner will let you accept or refuse them just as easily, before anything is stored. This page will be updated.
